 Nocturnal MeditationCotton paper, drawing in black ink, handmade paper from plants, watercolor, acrylic, 61cm x 46cm, 2022. This artwork is an invitation to reconnect to a slower pace of life. The sacred connection between Humans, Nature and Cosmos is represented with geometrical patterns while the nocturnal meditation allows us to remember how tiny we are under the stars... Can we look at life from another angle? |  Moonlight Song with PlantsHandmade papers made with fibers from banana stem, seaweeds with little stones from Puerto Rico, Japaneze kozo, Vietnamese Do paper, cotton paper, watercolor, acrylic and black ink, 34,4cm x 34,4cm, 2020. The artwork represent the rhythmic relation between the moon and the growth of plants. It reminds us the process of gardening by the moon to reconnect with our traditions. Plants are constantly teaching us how to heal our relation with our environment and with our inner self. This artwork is a part of the Puerto Rican tropical plants protecting us in our lives. |
